A FEW WORDS ABOUT US
The Mallee Classic Internaionale One Loft Event was initiated in Sea Lake in the Mallee Region of Victoria in 1997, due to its remoteness the event relocated to Ballarat in 2001. It continued until 2007, when Barry Trewin moved Overseas. Barry has now returned to Australia in 2017 and has been working on a new concept aimed at attracting the general public to be more involved. Although the Mallee Classic wasn't the first One Loft Race in Australia, the Interesting Fact is that since the conception of the Mallee Classic it became the yardstick for which other races are now measured. Some races have since folded, or have started to use ideas developed by The Mallee Classic Event. The Mallee Classic was known as the Premier One Loft Event in Australia.
